Thank You All For 20 Great Years!!

Important Announcement

I have an important announcement that I want to share with all of you, our loyal CTA Fan Club members. As you know, I have spent the last 20 years as the President of the CTA Fan Club. It has been a great 20 years, filled with wonderful memories and friendships that I will always cherish. As many of you know, I have dealt with several health issues including two open heart surgery procedures over the past few years. Like all of us, I’m also getting older. After much consideration, I have decided that it is time for me to step down as president of the club. This was not an easy decision to come to but I feel it’s in the best interest of the club. While in Florida during the April shows, I approached Hal Atzingen, who’s been with us for 16 years now and asked him if he would consider taking over the role as President. He said that he would, so I spoke with Peter Schivarelli, and he and the Band have given Hal their full blessing. I know that he will do a great job for all of you. I want to wish Hal all the best! Due to logistics, it will be much easier for the new Fan Club to “reopen” under a new name.

I wanted to take a moment and give a special thanks to 3 very important people, Hal Atzingen, our website and Scrapbook editor, Ronni Sternfeld, our ticket manager, and Janet May, our treasurer.  I would also be remiss if I didn't thank Marianne Jarzynski, our ticket assistant. All four of these people have been a tremendous asset over the years and I couldn’t have done this without them.  If you’d like, I’m sure Ronni would love to hear from you.

I also wanted to thank Peter Schivarelli for all of his valued friendship over the past 20 years for without his support, none of this would have been possible!

Thank you to all of you for the support and friendship you’ve given me and this club! It has been a truly great ride!!
